Why United Way?

The United Way's fundraising efforts are coordinated in a variety of ways throughout the community, with the majority of the donations coming from the corporate sector. Approximately 100 businesses in our community particiapte in a United Way campaign. Most employees donate through Payroll Deduction, where small amounts come out of their pay on a monthly basis over the course of the year. By running a United Way campaign, these companies and their employees are showing their commitment to our community and helping to provide a solution to its needs. When we reach out a hand to one we are helping to influence the condition of all.
